@minjod You probably went to the tourist Catacombs. There’s a whole other tunnel area that’s illegal to go to that’s often mistakenly also called the Catacombs, which these guys are walking through.
There’s a reason why these clowns are in the sci fi channel… because they found an abandoned mine (something you can find everywhere in the world) and try to make it look like its a big deal.
I went to the Catacombs last summer. And it’s absolutely not scary. I went through it alone most of the time with no one around and nothing.

lol the translation of what the french guy is saying is completely false, they just want to make it scarier. It’s fun to wonder around in the catacombs (just bring the adequat equipement, go with someone who’s been there before and know that you can be fined 20 euros or so if you get caught). Maps are available on the internet =)

I did a report on the Catacombs. Definitely not good to go down there not knowing what you’re doing. And they got to the place where the first bones were placed. O.o

If I were inside that catacomb I would bring these followings.
- A long rope seriously, do you know this place? No!
- A lot of bateries and flashlight.
- Food and water if any guys get hungry or thirsty.
- A marker to mark my place.
