If you hate the outdoors and don’t like much walking, then I would have to say that Paris is not the best place for you to visit. The best things to do are mostly outdoors and require walking. Even going shopping would be walking around the city. I really think that if you are going to enjoy yourself, you need to be outside, walking. Or not go to Paris.
Shopping is always a possibility. Try Tati (http://www.tati.fr/www/) which is relatively cheap and has lots of things for younger people.
There’s also Le Forum des Halles (http://www.forumdeshalles.com/vue/form/forumdeshalles/accueil/accueil.htm ) which is right in the center of the city and is a huge indoor Mall.
Along the Champs Elysee there are also a lot of mall-like places although most stuff you’ll see there tends to be way too expensive.
Check out the new musée du quai Branly which is just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. Its all about non-European art and culture and uses all the latest multi-media techniques. Even if the subject doesn’t really turn you on you might find the manner in which it is presented very interesting.
