I’ve been to Paris, and I can only answer one of the following. Fun things to do: You can take a boat ride through the river of Paris, shows you all the famous buildings and historic buildings. Eiffel Tower. Notredame. Parliament buildings just opposite the eiffel tower, shopping along Champs Elysées.
You can go to:
- eiffel tower (most famous attraction)
- louvre museum
- arc of triumph
-take a boat on the river
-the versalles palace, etc

In Paris, like in the rest of France and its oversea territories the political system is the republic. It has the three traditional powers: legislative (house and senate) executive (president and secs. of various departments), and judiciary (supreme court, assise courts for high level and political crimes) (These have 3 judges, a jury and a procureur de la republique (kind of national attorney for the prosecution); district courts and lower courts. The president is elected by general election for 6 years . The present president , Mr. Sarkozy is from Hungarian descent and is married to the Italian Carla Bruni. If you want to do something funny (but you must understand French) is having dinner in one of the political satirical cafés in Momartre where stand up comedians come to heckle the politicians. Otherwise book a trip to the Paris catacombs. The atmosphere is very funny.
