If I was born in Paris, France can I get European citizenship?
I was born in Paris, France. But my Mother was from the United States and father was from Lebanon. All I know is that I have a US citizenship (naturalized, i think). I have lived in the United States of America since I was three years old. So I only lived in France from when I was born until age three.

Would I be able to get a European citizenship to work in Europe? Does being born in France give me any type of easy access to living and working in Europe?

Check the French embassy’s website — some countries extend citizenship automatically to those born on their soil, but many do not.

I am not entirely familiar with french legislation, but being born there on its own is not sufficient. The fact you’ve lived there for three years does help, but I don’t think it will be enough. You probably hold american citizenship because your parents agreed a US pass would be more beneficial than a Lebanese pass. So your mother passed it down to you.

No you do not qualify to acquire french citizenship. The mere fact that you were born in France from foreign parents(not french does) in no way give you rights to citizenship. The jus soli
has been (citizenship by birth) abolished long ago.
You did not stay in France long enough to qualify.
After living in France for a certain amount of time ? you could have qualified, but not with 3 years only.

There’s no such thing as European citizenship.

Birth in France is not enough to guaranteee French citizenship, one of your parents also needs to be French

You should double check with the French Embassy

NOONE ever gets European citizenship. there is NO SUCH thing.

Europeans have citizenship status of their own country within Europe, and that entitles them to an EU passport.
