is traveling to another country like paris alone boring?
i want to go to paris for my senior yr next yr for a trip but i want to go alone cause i am not close to anyone or anything. but i heard going to places like france is boring alone because theres not alot to do? can u have fun solo or do u need to go with someone to really enjoy?

There is NO WAY Paris could EVER be boring. However, if you have a romantic nature, and love to share…ANY city can be boring if you are alone. I have traveled alone and enjoyed it immensely, but I really like returning to places I love with my family, whom I love and with whom I want to share everything. It is really a matter of personal choice.
And if you really want to know the truth…I can almost guarantee you will NOT be alone for long in Paris…the City of Lights, the City of Love. LOL
I think the feeling of being “bored” comes from inside you. Some people are bored no matter where they are. Other people are never bored because they have great imaginations. They do not need fancy things to keep them interested in life. They get out and make friends and enjoy the wonder of a beautiful day. Some people have to be “entertained” all the time…some enjoy simple things…so you need to decide what kind of person you are. Are you easy going and friendly…make friends easily? Do you speak French? This will make a big difference. You need to go to a place you will find interesting and where you can speak the language. And take a time to learn as much as possible about the place before you go.
A lot of people travel alone in Europe. If you stay in a youth hostel you will meet a lot of people. So if you decide you are getting bored, you could always stay there and meet people. But you don’t have to if you don’t feel like it either.
Also, it’s true, if you like being alone in general, then it will be fine. There are so many things to see and do there. Just sitting at a cafe drinking coffee and people-watching is great.
