    This building looks as though it was designed to mimic the styling of St. Mark’s in Venice combined with ornate decorative elements of Florence’s churches and cathedrals – Florentine color patterning especially, on the second floor cross window treatments and central arch decor

    [http://www.flickr.com/photos/janeykay2007] Nothing remains (halas). It was completely destroyed. Only two buildings survived : the Grand Palais and the Petit Palais.
