hahaha 1:22 La Guerre Des Bush…. oh course….
@lllovetocook lol no no, we are quite used to Americans in France so we do not expect you to follow our customs, just to respect them and not make fun of them. As long as you do that and dont say “Im an American, you cant do this to me!!” like in the 1980′s movies haha , you should get a warm and cordial welcome in Paris. If you have any questions, you will find despite what you may have heard, French people are VERY warm. Have a great trip!
@piefrance In europe, our idea of health concerns are quite different than the US. The meat is literally hours old as are the eggs. We dont really have supermarkets and buy our food daily not weekly.
@lllovetocook Non
Do you have to drink wine and eat cheese at French restaurants in Paris?I can’t toletate alcohol and I hate cheese, lol
ill be going to paris this summer, is it considered rude if u dont eat the cheese or drink the wine??
@CR10406
Steak Tartare is not recommended for people who have a weakened immune system or suffer from a chronic illness….but in the food gastronomy, it is now regarded as a gourmet dish!! I don’t eat beef, but I know how ppl are crazy about that from the restaurants I’ve been working…..heard that its prepared from the most tender part of the beef, and is prepared in very strict hygienic conditions to avoid salmonella contamination…..
I walked around the ile saint louis and ile de la cite a lot in Paris as my hotel was nearby. I loved being so close to the Seine River and felt that it was more charming to be away from the Eiffel Tower views since the Tower isn’t everything. Paris is a large city full of many different spots. If you really want to, lose your map, lose your direction and enjoy being lost in such a gorgeous city!
Oh my God… im enjoying a lot… i felt like im touring with them… but too bad not tasting their food;) lol
I don’t see how anyone can eat raw beef!
@piefrance I am studing French and planning a trip to Paris next Spring ’12. The francophone people tend to not worry so much with issues such as raw meat. I know, I just cannot imagine, but I hear that the steak tartar is quite good. I will probably try it. Can’t be any worse than Sushi, and I like sushi. And the legal drinking age is 16. In Switzerland, our French Professeur drank beer (instead of milk) in her high school.
Frenchieland!
What is the name of the cafe? We went to france in 09 and will be going back very soon !!
Oh my – the steak tartare. Raw meat & raw egg? What about health concerns?
@eonnee hahaha so funny your quotes, but how to tell? I’m Asian but would be interested to know more about France.
